After over a decade of providing great value insurance coverage in South Louisiana, Southern Fidelity Insurance Company has been unable to get reinsurance, and the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has closed them. Southern Fidelity, along with other companies, could not handle the excessive claims incurred in the past couple of years. It is very disappointing that they were forced into liquidation. Our Department of Insurance along with Louisiana Citizens were unable to continue your policy until the anniversary. Citizens is ready to write coverage, and we may have other markets for you. We have increased our processing staff by 50% and a team is ready to help.

This is a big task, but we are ready to help you. However, you are responsible for being sure your coverage is in place and meets your needs.

All Southern Fidelity Insurance Co policies in Louisiana will be cancelled on July 15, 2022, as ordered by the Louisiana Department of Insurance liquidator and the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

Currently, we are addressing another liquidation of Lighthouse Insurance that is due on the 22nd of June and Maison Insurance due June 30, 2022. Please be patient as we are working as fast as we can.
